Apr-07ISLE OF WIGHT V BUCCANEERS  CH                   won 34-57                       3-1'-3-3 = 10+1

race 1 = from the tapes win,

race 2 = settled third behind teammate Jerran Hart, said bike felt flat so changed timing,

race 3 =  gated but passed by Ben Hopwood but then cut under off bend 4 and retook lead to win                         comfortably,

race 4 = restart after Brendan Johnson fell turn 1 (Kyle was clear in front, all 4 back) third from tapes                   in restart, passed Scott Meakins then went outside Brendan on turn 4 never loooked back                     for win

Apr 14        BRITISH U21 SEMI FINAL @ ISLE OF WIGHT               2nd                                 2-3-3-3-3=14

race 1 led for 3 laps until allowing Mark Baseby room to pass on the outside to win

race 2 passed Ben Hopwood lap 1 never looked back

race 3 tapes to flag victory although chased hard by Ben Taylor

race 4 passed Brendan and pushed on for win

race 5 tapes to flag win

final missed start , passed Hopwood back straight, then Brendan off turn 4 chased Mark but couldnt               catch him.

race 1 tapes to flag win

race 2 tapes to flag win

race 3 Matt Bates gated, Kyle round the outside turns 3/4 lap one to take lead and win

race 4 tapes to flag win

race 5 Kyle cruising to victory until cut off caught on race jacket bringing him to a halt with a lap to go 

run off (not needed if above hadnt happened), Kyle stormed from tapes again to win comfortably.

Apr 19        NEWPORT V STOKE                                 PLT              lost 37-55                                fx-0-fx=0            race 1 after jim holder exc in 1st bend bunch Kyle was hit from behimd turn 2 by Kristiansen but                        somehow got unfairly excluded  

race 2 Kyle ahead of Jordan back straight but new his teammate was on B/W so let him through to                    chase potters pair

race 3 gated well had Phillips beaten but tried just too hard to pass Jakobsen on last lap and fell

            in all a spirited performance and showed he is thereabouts at PL level, effort level 110%

not a good meeting for Kyle and part of the big learning curve

Apr-23BUCCANEERS V ISLE OF WIGHT          CH            won 64-29                          fx-3-2'-2'-3=10+2

race 1 fell first bend after tussling with Brendan, perhps should of been all four back

race 2 outside sweep to lead and never headed with Aaron teaming up for 5-1

race 3 nice cut back from gate 3 to team up with jay for 5-1

race 4 rerun after both islanders fell 5-0 to buccs

race 5 from the back superb outside pass on Hopwood turns 3/4 to win final ride of the night.

Apr-24        BRITISH UNDER 21 FINAL @ LAKESIDE                                                            fd - fr1-ef-0-1=2

race 1 Kyle spun up out of start but was going under Wright who had run wide turn 3 but wright                       turned back in both riders down, Kyle exc.

race 2 fell turn 2 remounted finished 3rd as Hopwood fell turn 2 next lap

race 3 Kyle's best and worst race, having good battle for 3rd with Auty, Lewis out front, Tai fell turn 2              lap 3, Auty then has puncture as him and Kyle level back straight lap 4 Kyle's engine seized                  last bend while 2nd, Auty (still rolling) and Tai (who had remounted) passed Kyle as he was                   pushing bike across the  finish

race 4 out the gate race kyle's head not in it

race 5 again from the gate 3rd place

a poorly run meeting, no one to tell you what was happening from the moment riders arrived,no one signing you in, riders briefing was a joke as they all came away asking each other what did they say,crews were moved three times during the afternoon from pits, to have pit bay on stock track then back to pits then moved again as the "top boys" wanted more space than anyone else and wouldnt move so everyone else had to accommadate them, told to warm bikes up at 7 as parade was at 7.30 it actually started about 7.55, a long drawn out event on a poorly prepped track, even Eric Boocock commented after heat 2 "why the f***k dont they run this where people can race each other"

Kyle had no illusion going into this meeting and his score wasnt far off (apart from seizure) what was expected.

Apr-26       NEWPORT V BIRMINGHAM                   PLT                won 50-40                        1-1-fx = 2

race 1 passed Jerran hart 2nd lap for 3rd place

race 2 had to pass Brent nearly caught Ksiezak on the line, should of passed Brent earlier.

race 3 chased Lyons and Sweetman evntually passed Sweetman out of turn 4 only for him to try for               a gap that wasnt there on straight and took Kyle's arm clear off bike going into turn 1, both hit              the deck, Kyle thankfull for airfence, but astounded at exclusion

race 1 rear chain shed sending Kyle flying

race 2 sat with teammate Aaron Baseby for 2 laps until Aaron made mistake went after Dicken but                   not enough time left, close at finish

race 3 off gate 4 which everyone else was moaning about right round outside for easy win

race 4 form tapes 5-1 with Jay Herne

Apr-30BUCCANEERS V NEWPORT      NL  KOC                 won  55-38                  3-3-2-2'-fr = 10+1

race 1 from the tapes win just attacked the track making light work of it

race 2 again from the tapes win

race 3 terrific battle with Lee Dicken  with Lee taking the win

race 4 round the outside turns 1+2 to team up with Jay for 5-1

race5 (ht15) missed start tried little too hard going into turn three went down, picked bike up to finish

May-1       WEYMOUTH V SOMERSET (Kyle guest for somerset)     lost 31-62           fr-6*-3-2-3 = 14

race 1 tight first turn Kyle off one, on grass no where to go and fell, remounted to finish

race 2 Kyle on B/W tactical, from the tapes win Lee Smart having no answer, fastest time of night

race 3 round the outside of Buzz Burrows then passed Terry Day on back straight and never looked             back

race 4 excellent race with James Cockle, with Kyle passing Cockle into turn one on start of lap three              but overshot bend narrowly avoiding fence caught back up but just beaten on the line

race 5(ht15) Kyle chose gate four and it paid off, from the tapes with Ryan Sedgman backing him up                for a 5-1

race 1 good back up ride to jimmy holder for 5-1

race 2 missed start tried hard

race 3 made the start led gathercole for a lap , continued to hold off johnno for second

race 4  again missed gate

kyle raced for the bulldogs and scored well against some good opposition

should never have been exc when havvy took out kyle in his 2nd race and to rub it in the ref apologised to kyle after the meeting for doing so, other than that kyle is struggling for form in the PL at the moment

confidence low in both meetings

race 1 tried hard to pass darren mallet but snagging throttle cable not helping

race 2 excellent race to try and beat jamie smith but had to settle for 2nd

race 3 from the tapes good win

race 4 jay picked up drive which stopped kyle from coming araound the outside on 2 seperate occasions result may have been different

kyle could not make a start all night although not off the pace the damage was done at the tapes

May-23      RYE HOUSE V BUCCANEERS  NL                        won 47-46           2'-2-1-0 = 5+ 1

a good display by kyle on a trick track that was catching a lot of riders out

May-28      BUCCANEERS V WEYMOUTH  NL                        won 56-36            3-1-2'-1-1-1=9+1

race 1 easy from tapes win

race 2 couldnt get pass jerran until late may have been different if rode wider early

race 3 passed webbo and cockle to team up with jay for 5-1

race 4 passed day early but kept making mistakes when trying to pass buzz (probably wary)

race 5 made neat inside pass off bend 2 but jay and lee just had the pace off the dirt line to regain their places kept pressure on smart all the way

Jun-11      BUCCANEERS V SCUNTHORPE     NL                         won 52-43           x-2 fx/wd = 2+1    

race 1 unfairly exclusion for kyle, richardson fell after being passed by kyle

race 2 good 2nd chased winner all the way

race 3 front shock blew out sending kyle head first into the ground

(thanks to supporter nick who has paid for a new helmet)

a surprise for everyone that kyle made it to this meeting after his crash the night before but he rode sensibly picking up valuable points

never off the pace and had to pass craig cook to pick up a solitary point on first visit to worky

again rode well on first visit to glasgow picking up  acouple of good points

went into this meeting possibly too confident, all went wrong from the start

race 1 in third behind jimmy only for both to make mistake third turn allowing  j.w.w to take the point

race 2 + 3 always thereabouts but unable to snatch a point

race 4 had great battle with arlo with kyle sneaking up the inside on last bend last lap to nick 3rd

Jun-25      BUCCANEERS V ISLE OF WIGHT    NL                          won 51-41             2-3-2-ef=7

race 1 led simmons until last lap good ride by both opver the four laps

race 2 last to first picking each rider off without rushing, great ride

race 3 hopwood led with brown on t/r holding kyle back in 3rd  kyle trying everything then went for the outside on last bend all three riders crossing the line together in blanket finiosh with brown just getting verdict from kyle then hopwood.

Jul - 2        BUCCANEERS V WEYMOUTH           NLKOC                       won 60-32             3-1-2'-2'-2'= 10+1

race 1 passed buzz turn 2 never headed

race 2 great battle with cockle just failed half a wheel on line to take 2nd

race 3 passed james lap 1 then took buzz lap 3 to claim 2nd and another 5-1 for buccs

race 4 from tapes 5-1 with jay

race 5 again from tapes with danny for 5-1

Jul - 5        MILDENHALL V BUCCANEERS              NL                           won 48-42             0-1-1=2

race 1 passed jacobs but just got too wide and fell last bend trying to pass priest

race 2 tried hard but couldnt get passed mildenhall pair

race 3 passed felton lap 2 nearly caught mason on the line

Jul-16BUCCANEERS V PLYMOUTH   NL                           won 62-33             2'-2-r-2'= 6+2

race 1 tried outside on stephens then cut back and dove up inside turn 2 lap 2 to take 2nd

race 2 all over hughes but slipping clutch hampered chances of winning

race 3 punture/burnt clutch and broken cam bearing all in one lap

race 4 jumped on spare gated well good team riding from with jay

race 1 made start well in front lost concentration and fell

race 2 great race with mason used his head and passed outside last bend, not much room but                        crowd impressed

race 3 gated kept tight to bring jerran through another good 5-1 from the young pair

race 4 gated again jay and kyle side by side again for 5-1

race 5 from the tapes and gone no one was near

July 25     PLYMOUTH V BUCCANEERS                   KOC                        won 49-41            r-1-0= 1

  after blowing a motor completely in his opening ride kyle struggled to get to grips with the OTA

  rode well after injuring his right hand while laying the bike down to avoid Ben Hopwood in the opener, solid scoring

race 1 chased all the way and took Bujega on the line

race 2 Ben Wilson kept Kyle at the back

race 3 Fry gated Kyle passed Proctor end of lap 1 drew alongside Swales just as Fry fell,

rerun, Kyle gated and clamped Proctor well led to line, great race gutted but not disgraced to lose by half a bike at finish

race 1 gated and gone

race 2 gated 3rd passed Jerran back straight pressurised Cook the whole time, the pair side by side   cook went wide under pressure last bend Kyle drove up inside for win

race 3 again made gate kept inside allowing Danny outside line for 5-1

race 4 coil packed up going to line

race 5 gated let Tregonning around and teamrode him home for 5-1

race 6 same as but this time covered Aldridge

track conditions catching everyone out early in meeting

ace 1 great battle with campos for lead after Baseby had fallen, Campos just nicking it

race 2 easy 5-0 for Kyle and Mark

race 3 Cockle on t/r, Kyle all over him but couldnt quite get past

race 4 made start only for rocker arm to break while exiting bend two

race 1 fell trying to pass Poole too early

race 2 excellent race with Priest t/r, Kyle driving up the inside out of last bend

race 3 cracking race with Evans, Kyle tried everything on a very slick track, but Evans held on

race 4 another great tussle with Evans this time Kyle made a superb pass 3rd lap to back up Jay

race 1 chased Bates and kept pressure  on passed coming out of bend 4, Bates fell

race 2 Hughes gated Kyle chased hard but couldnt quite catch him

race 3 all three tied together for four laps Kyle rounded Starke for second, great race by all 3

race 4 Kyle b/w from start and gone

race 5 teamrode Grant home brilliantly for Buccs to secure league point

race 3 made a good start but Atkin had the drive onto the back straight, good pursuit and friendly  banter between the pair after

race 4 Kyle gate 3 Owen 4 (touched tapes) Kyle wrongly assumed Owen out Mason had gone, Kyle stayed behind Aaron to keep Owen out, all three surprised along with crowd that race not called back

race 5 Sedgeman and Hurst gated Kyle went wide turn 4 lined them up and drove between the pair Sam kept pressure on but Kyle powered round next bend never looked back

race 6 Jay and Kyle worked out what they wanted to do and performed it perfectly Jay gated and held the line allowing Kyle around the outside the pair gone and quickest time of the meeting

race 1 missed start cut up inside last to first in one move

race 2 had good early battle with Smith but by end lap two was gone

race 3 stayed with Danny who was holding off Courtenay, good 5-1

race 4 had to pass Courtenay twice in early laps but easy win in the end

race 5 from the tapes and gone

race 4 good battle with Simmons and Jonas, Jonas unexpectedly picked up drive last bend with Kyle outside allowing Simmons up inside
